The Interaction between Tort and Contract for Choice of Law Purposes: A studyconcerning the laws of the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom & theEuropean Community Law

This research evaluates the interaction between tort and contract for choice of law purposes within; the UAE legal system, the UK legal system and the European Community Law. It highlights on the difficulties such interaction can create in the field of conflict of laws and design solutions for such obstacles. The research answers three main questions in three chapters. The first question is about the nature of the overlap between tort and contract and if such overlap is possible. The second question looks at the law governs the contract and a related tort. The third question investigates which law governs issues in a contract in regard to a related claim in tort .
